TUNNEL SCALE REPLACEMENT AT EAST PASCO SOLID WASTE TRANSFER STATION

The Pasco County Purchasing Department will receive sealed bids until 2:00 p.m., local time (our clock), on APRIL 17, 2007, in the Pasco County Purchasing Department, 8919 Government Drive, New Port Richey, Florida 34654. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the above-stated time and date. All interested parties are invited to attend. Bidders shall submit one (1) original of the submitted bid.

This work consist of demolition of an existing in-floor truck scale and display, and installation of a new 60-foot by 10-foot 100-ton in-floor truck scale and display including all electrical, concrete deck surface and calibration/testing. This project is estimated to cost $75,000.00.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the East Pasco Transfer Station, 9626 Handcart Road, Dade City, Florida, on March 15, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. All interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend. The purpose of the pre-bid conference is to allow potential bidders an opportunity to present questions to staff and obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the issued bid documents.

Bid documents including the contract document and specifications may be obtained from the Pasco County Purchasing Department at the above-listed address upon payment of $75.00.

Bid, performance, and payment surety are required for this project. Please refer to the contract document and specifications for complete requirements.

The Board of County Commissioners of Pasco County, Florida, reserves the right to reject any and all bids received.
