AS-NEEDED, MISCELLANEOUS PIPELINE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

The Pasco County Purchasing Department will receive sealed bids until 2:00 p.m., local time (our clock), on APRIL 19, 2007, in the Pasco County Purchasing Department, 8919 Government Drive, New Port Richey, Florida 34654. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the above-stated time and date. All interested parties are invited to attend. Bidders shall submit one (1) original of the submitted bid.

This work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, certain materials, services, etc., necessary to construct and install miscellaneous water mains, wastewater force mains, gravity sewers and appurtenances thereto for the Pasco County utilities Department. The work will be undertaken in throughout the Pasco County Utilities service area and will be assigned to the successful Contractor from time to time by work order authorization. A separate set of drawings will be provided for each work order authorization.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held in the Purchasing Department Conference Room, 8919 Government Drive, New Port Richey, Florida, on March 28, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. All interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend. The purpose of the pre-bid conference is to allow potential bidders an opportunity to present questions to staff and obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the issued bid documents.

Bid, performance, and payment surety are required for this project. Please refer to the contract document and specifications for complete requirements. The Board of County Commissioners of Pasco County, Florida, reserves the right to reject any and all bids received.
